Help! Amara Editor Won't Load or Play YouTube-Only TEDx Talk

When attempting to edit "The Value of Unhappiness" I see the following message:

("Watch this video on YouTube. Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner.")

The previous translator had the same thing happen to her and was unable to finish.

I've tried using both the new and old editor versions, and have looked for a solution in the FAQ and support boards, but have found nothing. I have tried on two different Mac machines running OSX Yosemite (10.10.5) and have tried the latest versions of Chrome and Safari.

Can anyone let me know how to get the video approved for viewing on other sites so that I can do the transcription?

Thank you for reporting this, Tate Linden. The message you saw gets triggered when embed is disabled on YouTube, because Amara's streaming original videos is a form of embedding.

However, in your case, the embed does not seem to be disabled on YouTube (any longer?). Can you try again, please?

Best,

Claude Almansi
